The aim of the HIV/AIDS Awareness course is to empower and increase the awareness to participants of HIV/AIDS, its impact, management and availability of support systems. As the years progress so does the virus, which shows that people either aren't learning the message about the dangers of HIV, or are unable or unwilling to act on it.
Many people are dangerously ignorant about the virus. Knowledge on this virus is essential, as we can reduce or even prevent the spread of this virus.
